# SkyOS > SkyOS is the main memory for Claude, ChatGPT or Codex. It turns what you decide in your AI chats into short, dated notes, kept per project, so you don't re-explain your project in a new chat. If you use more than one of these apps, they share the same notes. ## What it does - Connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Codex as an MCP server. Every connected app reads and saves the same notes. - Notes keep the exact numbers, names and reasons you gave, not a summary. Each note is dated, and relative dates ("next Friday") are saved as real ones. - The AI is told today's date and when the memory was started. When a note older than a month holds a number or a status, it says when it was true ("as of 18 August, …") instead of presenting it as current. It asks whether such a fact still holds only before it goes into something public, and asks once when a deadline in a note has passed with no word on how it went. - Each new chat starts its own memory, so projects stay apart. To pick one up in a new chat, say "continue" and the memory's name, shown on the Memory page at app.skyos.ink: the chat carries on with the same notes and the last few messages. - Notes are rewritten when you change your mind. You can read, edit, export and delete them on the dashboard at app.skyos.ink. - SkyOS keeps only the last five exchanges of each chat, deleted after 30 quiet days. Everything older exists only as notes. ## Pricing - Free during the beta, up to 1,000 saved messages a month. - Claude, ChatGPT and Codex all work on free plans. ## Guides - [Claude says "This conversation is too long to continue"](https://www.skyos.ink/claude-conversation-too-long) - [How to make Claude remember previous chats](https://www.skyos.ink/claude-remember-previous-chats) - [Why does Claude lose context in long chats?](https://www.skyos.ink/claude-losing-context) - [ChatGPT says "You've reached the maximum length for this conversation"](https://www.skyos.ink/chatgpt-maximum-length) - [How to make ChatGPT remember previous conversations](https://www.skyos.ink/chatgpt-remember-previous-conversations) - [ChatGPT memory full: what to do](https://www.skyos.ink/chatgpt-memory-full) - [Why does ChatGPT forget things in long chats?](https://www.skyos.ink/why-chatgpt-forgets) - [Codex memory: how to make Codex remember past chats](https://www.skyos.ink/codex-memory) - [Why does Codex lose context in long chats?](https://www.skyos.ink/codex-losing-context) - [A memory MCP server for Claude, ChatGPT and Codex](https://www.skyos.ink/memory-mcp-server) ## Links - [Get started](https://api.skyos.ink/auth/login?return=https%3A%2F%2Fapp.skyos.ink%2F&signup=1) - [How to connect Claude, ChatGPT and Codex](https://app.skyos.ink/connect.html) - [Privacy Policy](https://www.skyos.ink/privacy) - [Terms of Service](https://www.skyos.ink/terms) - Contact: hello@skyos.ink
